Modern Pest is extremely proud to announce that Mike Peaslee has been presented the Bartlett W. Eldredge Award by the New England Pest Management Association (NEPMA). The Bart is NEPMA’s highest award and recognizes an individual who has made a long-term commitment to the betterment of the pest control industry in New England. Candidates for this award exemplify strong service to the industry, a commitment to community service, and an overall acknowledgment by his/her peers within the industry.
Mike is an Associate Certified Entomologist (A.C.E.) and Modern’s Technical Director. He has been with Modern Pest since 1977 and continues to be a guiding force and technical expert in all aspects of Modern’s operations.
“With his forty plus years in the industry, all with Modern, Mike has been an invaluable piece to the success of Modern and the industry as a whole in New England,” Dennis Dube, President of Modern Pest, said.
“Much more than just technical duties, Mike has had virtually all operations job titles at one point or another in his career, as well as serving on the NEPMA board,” added Dube.
“Behind the scenes, Mike is invaluable working with local municipalities and state governments to ensure that our industry is not restricted so that we can provide the necessary treatments to serve our clients. I personally cannot think of a more deserving person for this award and am proud that Mike is part of our team.”
Mike was honored at NEPMA’s Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on December 8, 2021 at the Crowne Plaza Boston-Woburn Hotel in Woburn, Massachusetts.
